What is the SME Competitive Business Program?

The A-SDA has signed a collaboration agreement with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) to implement the GRI Competitive Business Program in South Africa. The program, supported by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, aims to contribute to the better integration of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into value chains, through enhanced sustainability performance, accountability and disclosure.

The program offers tools, training and mentorship to guide SMEs through their first cycle of integrated reporting and even assits with the application of the strategic insights. Being part of the program, you are also automatically linked into the Impact Ecosystem of the A-SDA, a vibrant network that has grown over the last seven years.
